About
Dr. Nakia Hamlett-Nunes is the Founder and CEO of Hamlett Psychological Services LLC, a leading consultancy specializing in forensic evaluation, psychological assessment, and organizational consulting. With over two decades of experience, she integrates expertise in complex case conceptualization, child development, complex trauma, personality disorders, and substance abuse to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based forensic evaluations.
Dr. Hamlett-Nunes earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The University at Albany, SUNY, completed fellowships in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, and currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member here. Dr. Hamlett-Nunes also facilitates executive leadership and team development training at the Yale School of Management.
Over the years, Dr. Hamlett-Nunes has been featured on NBC, in the Huffington Post, in US News and World Reports, as a Ted X speaker, and in numerous other media outlets. She has also received significant praise for her evaluation work, including comments such as stated in the Testimonials section.
